North Bay, Ontario, June 6, 2018 – Rebuilt Resources is giving back to the community as a 2018 Gold Sponsor of the Warriors of Hope.
“As so many wonderful local charities struggle to find sponsors to help with expenses, the process of fundraising looms larger with each passing year. We recently launched a new Sponsorship Campaign, and Rebuilt Resources immediately came on board with their support. The Warriors are so grateful for the assistance that Rebuilt Resources has provided by becoming a Gold Sponsor,” enthused Warriors President Kathleen MacDonell.
The Warriors of Hope Dragon Boat Racing Team was first introduced to North Bay in October 1999, launched by a small group of breast cancer survivors and supportive volunteers. Since then, this inspirational team has become a role model for breast cancer survivors everywhere. In addition to training and racing, the team has a mandate to raise awareness of breast cancer through public education, community involvement, and fundraising for breast cancer research.
Some of the Warriors’ community activities include participating in the annual Relay for Life and CIBC Run for the Cure, raising awareness through the Silver Linings Wellness group, and supporting the North Bay Regional Health Centre Breast Screening Program.
In nineteen years, the team has grown to include over thirty Survivor members as well as a large group of Associate members, requiring periodic updating of sports equipment and the increasing costs of travel to out of town Dragon Boat festivals.
Rebuilt Resources has distributed charitable funding annually to dozens of North Bay charities. Their generous sponsorship of the Warriors of Hope will help the team with expenses relating to paddling equipment, travel, and accommodation at dragon boat festivals.
The Warriors continue to seek sponsors on an ongoing basis. For more information about sponsorship opportunities and benefits, please emailand reference Sponsorships in the subject line.
